Monday Mantra: March 22, 2010
>> Monday, March 22, 2010
OK, I am shamelessly copying Valerie and Rachel, among others, and starting the week off with a Monday Mantra post. I figure that I need to set positive intentions for myself each week; might as well do it here! ;-)
So here we go:
This week will be a good one, but the "busy" theme will continue. Thankfully, it's another 4 day work week for me!
I believe that I will be able to survive the four hours of spinning that I will be subjecting my body to on Friday! ;-)
I'm addicted to running!
I wish we had a big vacation coming up...
I'm jealous of people who seriously believe that our government officials have our best interests in mind. I think that I'd be much better able to handle the current political environment if I could only believe that.
Soundtrack/Mantra for the week: "A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine." ~ Thomas Jefferson
Disclaimer: I rarely discuss politics in this blog, and that's not going to change. But since there are some things fresh in my mind, I thought it appropriate to incorporate some of my thoughts here. Don't worry, I'm not going all tea party on y'all. :-)

We are less than two weeks away from meaningful baseball. That is all.
